Many Ugandans have never seen what millions of tourists travel across the world to experience.

Think about that.

Every year, visitors save for months, book flights, and travel thousands of kilometres just to spend one hour with a family of mountain gorillas.

As Ugandans, we can do the same experience for just UGX 300,000.

The adventure takes place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, both in southwestern Uganda.

By road, it’s about an 8–10 hour journey from Kampala — ideal for a weekend road trip. And for those who prefer to save time, domestic flights are available.

Sometimes we spend so much time dreaming about other countries that we forget the treasures in our own backyard.
